Your Attorney
I’m Jennifer Wallis, an estate planning attorney in Walnut Creek, California. I was born and raised in Lafayette, California, and after graduating from Acalanes High School, I attended UC Davis, where I double-majored in Political Science and Economics and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. I then earned both my Juris Doctor and MBA from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where I was a member of the USF Law Review and honored with 5 CALI Awards for achieving the highest grade in the following classes: Community Property, Commercial Real Estate Transactions, Evidence and Start-Up & Venture Capital.
After law school, I had the privilege of working with my mother, a local estate planning attorney, who instilled in me both the technical skills of the profession and the importance of compassion and connection.
I live in Lafayette with my husband and two young children, and practicing estate planning truly feels like my dream job. I love meeting clients, hearing about their families, and helping bring their wishes for the future to life. My favorite part of the work is providing peace of mind, particularly around aging and incapacity, and becoming a trusted part of my clients’ teams.
Beyond my practice, I regularly record educational videos for the Rossmoor Television Station, which air on Channel 1083. I also enjoy speaking throughout the Bay Area at Rotary clubs, SIRS events, senior living communities, and Realtor offices, sharing knowledge and connecting with the community.
Esperanza Zuniga, Paralegal
Esperanza is a talented and dedicated paralegal who has been an essential part of our practice. Esperanza and Jennifer first met in 2015 while working together at Jennifer’s mother’s law office. From the start, Esperanza and Jennifer immediately connected and became a truly great team, working side by side to support clients with care, detail, and compassion.
Jennifer and Esperanza reconnected in 2022, and since then, Esperanza has continued to bring her expertise, organizational skills, and warm presence to every client interaction. She plays a vital role in helping our clients feel supported and confident as we guide them through estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.
